How to bet?
To begin with, a player must take a peek at what chips there are. Players can use chips worth 1.00, 50.00, 10.00 and 25.00 to make their bets. They can place their bets in the betting circle on the table, or if they are playing the multi-hand version, they can make several bets at once. The table minimum bet is fixed at 1.00 per hand, whilst the game will never cost any more than 200.00 per hand.
How to play?
After the bet has been placed by the player, the player will receive two cards (face up), as opposed to the dealer’s one card (also face up). The player must then decide whether to hit or stand (or in some cases, double-down or split). If they hit, they will take another card – but if they go over 21, then they are bust and out of the game. If they stand, they are sticking with the cards that they have. The dealer will then make their move. After which, the player with the best hand (without going over 21), will win.
Players do have the option of an insurance bet in this blackjack variant, and they can also double-down. Players can split on card with the same denomination, but they cannot re-split, and they cannot double-down after a split. Perfect Pairs can often be played as a multi-hand game.
Players can also place a Perfect Pairs bet if they wish. You will need to place your bet before the cards are dealt. If you place a Perfect Pairs bet, you are basically betting that in your hand, will be a pair of one set of cards.
Pay-outs
Should a player land blackjack in Perfect Pairs, they will pocket a win of 3:2. Insurance wins pay-out at 2:1. The dealer must always stand on 17 in Perfect Pairs Blackjack. It is also worth noting that with the Perfect Pair bet, players can win 7:1 for a mixed pair (same value but different suits), 15:1 for Coloured Pairs (same value and colour), and 30:1 for Perfect Pairs (same value and suit).
