How to bet?
To start playing High Streak Blackjack, the player will need to place a bet. They have chips that include 1.00, 5.00, 10.00 and 25.00 values for them to do this. You can opt to place your bet in the betting circle to play standard European Blackjack, or you can opt to stick an additional bet in the High Streak bet as well, if you wish. Once your bets have been placed, the game begins.
How to play?
The player will be dealt two cards face up, and the dealer just one – which is also dealt face up. The player must then decide to make their move. If no bonus bets have been placed, then the blackjack game is played out as normal, with insurance bets, doubling-down and splitting possible options alongside hitting and standing. The objective is the same as in normal blackjack. You are to beat the dealer’s hand, without going bust (over 21). If you land blackjack, you will win instantly.
If you’re playing a bonus bet, you are trying to build streaks. If the first hand is successful, the player is paid on their standard bet and their side bet. They can then make another side-bet for their second hand, with the bet now worth the winnings of the second betting spot, and so on and so forth. If the player composes a streak of five wins, they will pick up the maximum win with side-bets.
Pay-outs
Players will win a standard pay-out of 3:2 for all blackjacks. Insurance bets also pay-out at the standard rate of 2:1. In High Streak Blackjack, the dealer must stand on all 17s. It is also advantageous to know the streak bonus bet pay-outs. Players pick 1:1 for their first and second win. They will also get 2:1, 5:1 and 10:1 pay-outs for their third, fourth and fifth streak wins.
Tips and Tricks
You won’t actually be playing the High Streak bonus bets (even though you may have wagered on them), until you pick up a second consecutive win. Unlike some blackjack variants, players cannot wager solely on the bonus bet. A bet on the regular blackjack game must be made in order to trigger the bonus bets, although given that the standard blackjack games make up the streaks, this should be self-explanatory.
