There is finally a 5-line slot we can enjoy playing
We’ve seen plenty of 5-line video slots over the years. Most of them have failed to impress.
Many of these contain overly colourful paylines, simplistic features (if any at all), cheesy themes, and rather poor graphics. What Genesis Gaming has come up with betters almost all of them.
They have decided to release a slot with a winning theme, cheap bets, decent wins, and more than agreeable features. The only non-palatable thing about this slot is that it isn’t mobile friendly.
Arizona Treasure was launched this month, and although it hasn’t exactly achieved critical acclaim, it should get more praise than it has done thus far.
What Genesis Gaming has come up with is a 5-reel, 5-line video slot that is an example to all other developers producing slots with such minimal paylines and cheap gaming. We like it a lot, and here’s why…
What we love
If you are going to be playing a 5-line slot, you don’t want to be paying out of the nose for a couple of spins on its reels. There are simply too many 5-line slots out there which cost a packet to play, and Genesis Gaming has tried to change that with their Arizona Treasure slot.

Sure, it can cost you up to $20 a pop if you let it, but wagers can also cost as little as $0.01 per spin, and you just can’t knock that. More importantly, the game features plenty of multipliers and wilds. In the free spins bonus, players can enjoy wins from two extra wild symbols.
It is much better than that, though. Players will also get to choose one of those wilds to be “their wild”. Should their wild crop up more than the other wild that they didn’t choose, they will retrigger the feature, and double their wins.
This is miles better than usual land “3 scatters to retrigger the feature” stuff we see in similar slots.
What we do not like
In this day and age, it is all about mobile gaming. This is not something that Genesis Gaming has cottoned on to. Until they do, they won’t be able to challenge the likes of Microgaming, Playtech, and Net Entertainment in Europe. This is not a mobile-friendly slot.
Fortunately, Genesis Gaming has a bit following Stateside, so they can always rely on the North American audience to peg up their games.
Worth playing?
Genesis Gaming has developed one of the most entertaining video slots to feature just 5 paylines. This Wild West themed slot has cool graphics, cheap bets, decent wins, and a really addictive free spins bonus. What’s not to like?
Whilst it is fair to say that Genesis Gaming should be taking a leaf out of other developers’ books in terms of mobile gaming, maybe those other developers can take a leaf out of theirs by making their 5-line slots more like this in terms of what they offer.
