Try to Win 243 ways in Zombie Apocalypse Slot Lost Vegas By Microgaming
Microgaming is once again releasing 243 ways to win slots, after a period in which 15 to 30 line slots have been favoured. They have dived right back into the routine with their new Lost Vegas video slot.
Believe it or not, this slot tries to fuse the zombie apocalypse and gambling themes into one. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come off as smoothly as Microgaming may have liked. There are aspects of the slot which are tip-top, and there are aspects which certainly don’t work.
Lost Vegas is predictable in the sense that the imagery and symbolism in the game are dull, drab, and expected. Lost Vegas is exciting in terms of its special features – well, one of them at the very least.
Lost Vegas won’t cost you a packet to play, and if you’ve ever played a Microgaming 243 ways to win slot before, you’ll know what to expect. Expect minimum and maximum wagers of 0.30 up to 45.00 per spin on this slot, respectively.
What we love
Microgaming’s Lost Vegas slot contains two gaming modes – Zombie and Survivor modes. The mode you choose will determine the type of bonus game you get to enjoy. One of them is absolutely terrible, whilst the other is top notch.
The best feature in the game is the Zombie free spins bonus, without a shadow of a doubt. It offers you the chance to bag wild reels. Every so often, a wild reel will appear on the screen, and it will remain sticky for the duration of the free spins bonus.
Players will keep bagging free spins until all 5 reels are wild. As you can imagine, you can pocket truly massive wins with this feature, which really is this slot machine’s saving grace. Other nifty features include two ways to bag instant win cash prizes via the Fist of Cash, and Blackout bonuses.

What we Do not Like
There is more to dislike than like about the Lost Vegas slot. The Survivor free spins bonus is rather rubbish. It keeps saving all the of the cash from the lower paying icons into a pot (known as The Stash), and at the end of the free spins bonus, it will pay out the stash to you alongside your free spin winnings. In our time of playing this game (which was considerable) not once did the Survivor bonus come anywhere near close to matching the zombie bonus for winnings paid out.
The theme of this game is also drab. We’ve seen it all before. Microgaming probably though that by adding a gambling element to their zombie apocalypse slot, they’d come up something new, and that it would be rock. They haven’t, and it doesn’t.
Worth Playing?
There is a great way of describing the Lost Vegas slot – hit and miss. It punches well above its weight in some areas, and falls flat on its face in others. Ultimately, it will be up to each player to decide for themselves if this slot offers them anything they fancy. It was released at all good Microgaming powered casinos at the beginning of this month.
